This was Vanilla Ice's Tour Schedule (taken from his official website) at the time I wrote him the email:

09/12/2003 WARPT Gravity Games (Emcee of the games in Cleveland, OH -No performance)
09/18/2003 The Caterie 3617 Perkins, Baton Rouge, LA
10/11/2003 Vanderbuilt University Sigma Chi Concert Nashville, TN
10/17/2003 L'amours Brooklyn, NY
10/18/2003 Orlando's Night Club Olathe, KS
11/01/2003 Grandma's Sportsgarden Duluth, MN

You can just imagine the disappointment of attendees of the Gravity Games when they found out Vanilla Ice would not be performing.
And no, I haven't heard of "Grandma's Sportsgarden" either.
Also, if you change the punctuation of the first line you can get : Oh, no!!! Performance!

Original Email sent to Vanilla Ice's Manager:
Dear Sir or Madam:
I would like to inquire about having Vanilla Ice attend and perform at a function overseas.
I am a flag designer by trade. My latest creation is the new flag for the Kingdom of Nepal. I am having a big celebration for the unfurling of this new flag. The time and venue for this event is yet to be determined. Most probably in Nepalganj, Nepal (near the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve) early next year.
Several government officials in Nepal (having been schooled in the US) are huge Vanilla Ice fans. They would love to hear "Ice, Ice, Baby." In fact, during the last three months I visited the country, I was very surprised that "Ice, Ice, Baby" is somewhat of an anthem with the youth in Nepal.
What is the availability of Mr. Vanilla Ice? Are there any special requirements for him?
Also, would Mr. Vanilla Ice have any problems with performing at a flag unfurling for Nepal? I don't see this as an obstacle because relations between the US and Nepal are friendly.
This flag re-design came about as a way to announce Nepal's reemergence into the New World Economy.

Thank you,
William Shaw

Response from Vanilla Ice's Management:
Hi Will,

Vanilla Ice can be available to perform in Nepal for $15,000. plus all expenses of air transportation, ground transportation, food and hotel, plus pro sound, lights and equipment rider.

4 persons will be in the travel party. Ice, DJ, drummer, and manager.

Thanks

"Man, this email is so fake. It's gotta be fake.
Ain't no way it's real. "Nepal" doesn't even sound like a real country.
But only 12 people showed up at Grandma's Sportsgarden last November.
Damn, what the hell!! Tell 'em I want 15 G's.
Damn!! Now I gotta find a word that rhymes with Nepal.
Rupaul maybe."

* If enough money isn't raised, MC Hammer will be contacted instead.
And if we can't get Hammer, I'll probably just keep the money myself.
